Sony Hack

Making a movie about the assassination of a country's leader and having it release on Christmas day......is that what America is all about ?

Not the America that I love. I highly value freedom of expression and speech -- but there has to be limits -- there has to be some cultural sensitivity !  We can't poke everyone in the eye over our "freedoms"!

Who decides the line ?  and when it is crossed ? In this case the GOP decided and took action.

Yes -- North Korea has major issues.  But do we want it to be like Libya or Iraq?

Many Paths To God

I watched " Life of Pi " last night and was highly encouraged by the boy exploring the different paths we have to God.  Many of us have been wondering about the other paths.  We live in such a diverse culture now and have met many others that we like and have common goals and a common sense of hope and caring -- but they are on a different path to God.   #mutuallyassuredrespect #manypathstogod

Peace on Earth and Good Will to All

As most cultures and religions are moving into the season of hope, thanksgiving, generosity and rejoice -- this message is one of Tolerance, Respect, Peace, and Good Will to all my fellow humans.

May each of you surround yourselves with love during this season and always.

World Religions

I found this link informative on who believes what. Probably not the complete authoritative source, but interesting to think about none the less.

It is not surprising the world is so "fractionalized", but where do we go from here?

Sara Ting Inspiration

So inspired by the words of Sara Ting's original work, I have added to it to more fully embrace the challenges we face:

"Are you greater than the sun that shines on everyone? Black,Brown, Yellow, Red and White the sun does not discriminate". Sara Ting ©

"Does the rain not wet your hair the same? Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist or Jew, the skies have washed your ancestors without prejudice.
Can you stop the winds better than any other? Russian, Saudi, Spaniard,Vietnamese, and Nigerian, The winds show no bias towards your borders.
Will you extend your time in this physical form? Tall, Short, Bulky, Skinny, Blind and Deaf, the hands of time wait for no human."
